It is sooooooo cold out today... My little weather pixie says it's 7, but I think it was below zero this morning. It took about 10 minutes for me and the kid to chip all of the ice off the windshield and I thought the wind was going to whisk me up Western Avenue to the land of winter, never to see my family again.Seriously, I'm STILL not warm.

I don't do cold, that is bullshit. I dress for it or heat the place up.
In 1986 it snowed 10 inches here in Alabama. In 1993, we had another 6 incher. Since then, it hasn't snowed over a couple inches...like in an entire decade. My soon-to-be teenage kids have not EVER built a snowman in their own yard (grandparents live in Iowa, so they have experienced plenty of the white stuff...just never here...) Anyway, sorry it's so cold in the Windy City, but how I really really really could go for a good snow here. Instead, it's rainy outside. Nothing too Christmasy about a warm drizzle.
