Georgia O'Keefe

On this day in 1887, Georgia O'Keefe was born in Wisconsin. She was an American painter (one of my favorites) who lived much of her adult life in Northern New Mexico. She died at the age of 99. You can read more about her here.

Mason calls almost everything by Georgia O'Keefe "My Vagina." Like when you're playing
Masterpiece
and her painting is the next one up for bid, He says "Next up for bid, 'My Vagina,' by Georgia O'Keefe." Just thought you'd like me to say vagina three times.

Vagina, vagina, vagina...

Yes, all of the flowers do look like vaginas, vulvas, pudendas, what have you...

(I told you she was one of my favorite painters. ;~)

I don't care what they allegedly look like.

I like 'em.

Yes, I am home but on nitroxic amounts of medication. The people at Aetna are busy tallying up their annual bonus based purely on my pill bill. But I'm supposed to stay quiet and relaxed. Fat chance.

Art is dead so is she

Hey Everybody!

The first time I remember getting really excited by art was when I was 15 and went to see a retrospective of her work. She was incredibly prolific. I love her, too. Might have even shagged her.

Glad you're home and popping pills, Nigel.

Remember the old saw Z -- All things pass, art alone remains. ;~)
