Proper Holiday

So I'm taking a few days off starting tomorrow, because I need to wring out my brain, which has become saturated with minutiae, drama and American self-mutilation.

Tonight, I'm going to reunite with a couple of substansive soul friends to put a river of tequila between us and this world and us and the underworld and I'm going to go as the damaged collective unconscious -- which means a piecemeal selection of strange accessories like a cowboy hat, a cape, stiletto boots, hoop earrings, etc. all in purple, black and blue, which as blog ho says, is probably another bad costume that only I will get. That's ok, as isolation is currently a turn on. (Which is one of the themes encompassed by my costume.) Also, there is a pretty good chance I'll end up vomiting -- and I like the image of the bruised collective unconscious purging itself in some ignominous toilet at the witching hour on Samhain.

Then I will run away and hide in the woods for a few days.

Happy Halloween!

While consuming all those margaritas with your friends, here is a taught to ponder.
Why only on PBS radio did we hear about the Brazilian presidential elections. It took only a total of FOUR HOURS to get the final results, no complaints of fraud, and worse, not a mention of it on any of our so called news networks.

Because....we're being prepared for this year's election fraud, brought to you by the Blood and Oil Regime.

The best costumes are not of any particular character or stereotype.

I'm always a pirate, except on Halloween.

ps The image is nice, save for the silicone sister tits.

I, too, was put off by the plastic chi-chis -- but my fondness for the helmet, hand-on-hip and tail overcame my silicon aversion.

Also, I'm wondering if it's perhaps the artist's comment on the presentation of the modern day siren-as-seductress in the homeric sense.

Be careful...we sirens have soft spot for pirates.

I'm always careful. So much so I'll point out the important distinction between silicone and silicon: one is for making bogus ta tas, the other for computer chips.

Computerized bogus boobs is a nightmare of mythic proportion.

Dear Cherished Man-Always-Giving-Me-The-Business,

Here is an image of silicon silcone boobs for you.

So maybe I am literal--BUT, I get to live life with concrete cartoon images running through my head. It's better than the movies.

Thank you for correcting my spelling. Sirenas have many attributes, but carefulness isn't one of them.

You're welcome, but I didn't correct your spelling, I corrected your interminable terminology.

I'm confident you'd do the same for me....I have my own interminant moments.

Once again, thank you for the precision.
