The Washington Post reports 87 U.S. deaths in Iraq in October -- and it's still a week until Halloween.

And Elizabeth Dole testified yesterday on Meet the Press that if the Democrats win control of Congress, terrorists will sneak over in the night and disembowel all of us in our beds at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8. (Okay, that's a slight exaggeration. Very slight. )

Does anyone else remember when Libby Dole was reasonably sane? Not anymore.
