Mozart must be rolling in his grave. Or laughing his ass off -- I'm not sure which.

A production of Idomoneo was cancelled in Berlin due to some controversial religious content. Evidently, the severed heads of Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha and Poseidon are presented/danced with (depends on what you read) by King Idomoneo.

Marx said religion was the opium of the people. Lately, I would have to call it the crystal meth of the people. Everyone's gone hypervigilant, paranoid, nutty and violent.
