Splintered

I have a compound fracture in the second phalange of my left index finger. I mean, my knuckle is seriously busted. I tried to google an xray to give you a feel for it but I couldn't find anything fucked up enough. They may write it up as a case study -- that's how crazy this is. Fortunately, I have health insurance and a close friend working in orthopaedic surgery so I'm getting treated quickly and well by a hand surgeon for pro athletes. I go under the knife on Thursday. I'm hoping for positive outcomes and good drugs.

Also, anasthesia = wacked out dreams. That's a plus.

Learn to hit people with the butt of your palm, not your clenched fist -the one thing I learned in high school, after breaking most of my fingers.

If they give you morphine, be sure and take your lactulose.

Man, I didn't even get to hit him. Asshole. He broke my finger tearing stuff out of my hand.

Kick him in the crustaceans.

Actually, I'm rather concerned about your digit.

You won't be pointing around corners will you?

Dude, I was seriously messed up. My surgeon called my 3 hour surgery "brutal" and there were 3 breaks plus splintering in the knuckle.

I'm sure glad that yahoo didn't have a weapon.

It's cool, though. Typing is not the easiest task in my life but I'm healing and I have an external fixation device so I look like I am Borg.

Resistance is futile.

Futility is futile.

Yield and be strong.
