Tin Foil Hats

Contrary to popular folklore, tin foil hats will not protect your brain from radio waves, televison rays or cell phone interference. According to a team of researchers at MIT, this widely circulated rumor ... is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC.

In a pilot study performed on themselves, these dedicated researchers found that tinfoil hats actually magnify the intensity of power transmitted to the head, thereby making the wearer of this protective device even more vulnerable to radio wave mind control than those not wearing aluminum foil hats. The research did not investigate the ability of aluminum foil to protect the human brain from extraterresterial technology. We also can't be sure if tin foil may have once protected people, as all modern foil is now aluminum.

And here I thought tin foil was good protection for everything. What about tin foil condoms? They don't provide protection, too?

Those lads at MIT are not to swift and their research is flawed as demonstrated by the photo. They should have know, Shiny Side Up, is the only way it works.

Besides, your just jealous of my neat shiny hat.

Changa -- Cheewing aluminum??? Eeeiuww.

Nigel -- I repeat, eeiiuww! ;~)

Pelmo -- You are absolutely right about the shiny side up. I couldn't tell from the picture, but I was wondering if maybe they had it backwards.

I am jealous.

I would tend to agree that they either aren't wearing the hat right (shiny side down would amplify) or something else about their research is flawed (or its intentional). I know for a fact (because I have tested it) that if you put a piece of aluminum foil in between a reader and RFID device it interferes, and if you put a piece in between a microwave and TV where the microwave when running causes the TV to scramble, the aluminum blocks the signal and the TV runs fine while the microwave is running. Clearly it blocks certain transmissions.
